It’s a strange world that we’re living in-
Are they making wrong decisions?
Or do people just keep giving in?

Some say the pressure from their peers,
makes them question themselves,
but over the years-
have we really been any help?

What happened to forever young?
What happened to the happy ones?
But nowadays, it’s get your gun,
‘cause you’re gonna’ have to run.

Until you reach the point in life,
that doesn’t make you scared at night-
Where people don’t have to sacrifice,
the ones they love or fear to fight.

The world will be the same,
nothing’s going to change.
But when we realize that this is a shame,
maybe, just maybe, the world will change...
