The eyes speak what the tongue won’t say
Emotions deep within are written on one’s face
Heartache, pain, regret, and questions of why
Feel the head of the naïve girl inside

Blinded by feelings which were untrue
Wanting to hurt him like he hurt you
Asking yourself why did you not see
All the words in which were spoken was nothing but dishonesty

Naïve means one is deficient in worldly wisdom or informed judgment
However, one may see wrong but still choose to ignore it
Seeing right when wrong is being done
Is a weakness that influences everyone

Some say that emotions blind females
Weakness is what fills every cell
However we have no control over what our heart speaks
But as we grow into women the heart gets less and less naïve

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write Naive because many teenagers experience the hurt of love or heartbreak because they are to young to really know what true love is. Naive expresses how wisdom comes with age and the older you get the more you realize how to separate puppy love for true love!
