Childhood memories

Getting ready to leave,
Finally, and I cant believe. I'm going to be free.
At last, I'll be free to make my own choices, make my own money, be free to be whatever I can be.
Then my mom hands a box to me. All my childhood memories.

There's thee
picture of me at thee playground slide, Bare feet and a dirty smile, me on top of daddies dog pile. Pictures of my fourthe and 5the birtheday, when i insisted i bake my own cake, eating all thee batter before it was baked. Not a smile faked. All my memories I'm about to make, and all thee childhood memories ill never replace.

Driving alone on thee interstate, Cursing at myself,
I'm about to be late. Wishing for a simpler time, When all the time was mine. I flash back to the first time behind thee wheel, driving motheers car into the first pole almost getting killed, by my mother.

And the picture of me on the playground slide. With bare feet and a dirty smile, me on top of daddies dog pile. pictures of my fourth and fifth birthday when i insisted i baked my own cake, eating the bater before it was baked. Not a smile faked, All thee memories I'm about to make, and all the memories ill never replace.

Getting dressed, ill be a brand new bride,
I'm scared of thee future theough i try to hide,
my anxiety behind my veil. I guess after theis only tI'me can tell. And as I'm walking down thee aisle i smile and think of a time.
