When the day comes.

I can’t even recall
the times of calm
where everything was right
but now, it’s needless spite.

When it did happen
I never knew
it was secret to me
like a hidden clue

Until one ruthless day
my brain pulsed red
and my body froze
I think to myself
why must I endure these throes?

What senseless power
deemed me the one
to sit and cower
with my brain on stun
