Stain Your Smile

I look down at my nails
And irritated skin
My fingers are bleeding
As I'm dying within

I'm too dark for your kisses
Too hurt for your words
I can't be your misses
Not like this

Not when my chest's feelin hollow
Not when my heat's as flighty
As a new born swallow
I can't be everything
You want me to be
Everything you deserve
Not while I'm bleeding
It might stain your smile
So you better go now
You can't wait for a while

I'm getting thinner by the moment
The moment I don't breathe
I'm losing strength in everything
Starving doesn't make this easy
Yet I don't take a bite
I just sit here and stare
I'm so beyond lost
That I don't even care

Not when my chest's feelin hollow
Not when my heart's as flighty
As a new born swallow
I can't be everything
You want me to be
Everything you deserve
Not while I'm bleeding
It might stain your smile
So you better go now
You can't wait for a while

It's better this way
It really is
This isn't an excuse
It's my will that you live
And as I'm falling apart
You can keep a piece
If you wish
You can all have a piece
It's just not that easy

In fact it's hard
To look me in the eye
It's even harder
To look at me in the mirror
As I see a crumbling city
Like a heart full of fear

Oh my gosh! That was amazing! This song has such a natural flow and the lyrics are so emotional and descriptive! I LOVE IT! Such unique phrasing, especially "Not while I'm bleeding/It might stain your smile"! AMAZING!!!!!
