This Animosity Kills
These portraits of disquise mask your weaknesses
You aren't so tolerable, but inside you're vulnerable
Determined to remain silent, your masks protect you

Who are you now? Where is he, who's eyes I adorned
This animosity kills, for this, we make our departure
Who are you? Why leave me suffering, wondering, trembling?
This animosity kills, for this we say our last goodbyes

Your hands shake and rationality is fleeting
You're ready to break and leave eternally, gone
You have no concerns, your mind is fraying

My tears fall and no one comes to my rescue
 I'm left wondering, questioning
 You made your valiant escape
 You made your valiant escape
For this we make our departure

Who were you? The one who's hands I lovingly held?

This animosity kills, for this you leave me stumbling
This animosity scars, for this I say my last goodbye
Years of trying left me bruised and crying
My tears will fall no more, no longer
My heart will scar no longer.
