Cold Snow

Walked outside blinded by the light
Not by the sky but the ground painted white
The wind shook my spirit inside and out
Comforting it made my mind want to shout
The tiny specs hide earth's mistakes
Covering the scars in white flakes

The breath of day was ever cold
Especially when its all alone
Light shined from the ground up
But my heart was kept in a cement cup
It tried to brake from the icy cold
But pain held a tight hold

Bellow me were gleaming blank pages
But in me sat thick birdcages
Couldn't hide from under the white crystals
Because my soul bleed from seventeen pistils

Pure and untouched sat blankets of silence
So i walked on not showing violence
White and still, it held no heat
Its just another ruffle within the sheets.
