Mirror
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Why don’t you ever say that I’m the fairest of them all?
All you ever do is show me I’m not hot,
What I should be, and that I’m not.
But mirror, mirror on the wall,
So what if I’m’ not the fairest of them all?
I am the best I can be,
I am the only me.
So what if I’m unique,
That doesn’t make me a freak.
You don’t make me who I am,
You can’t tell me where to stand.
Who are you to tell me,
That I’m heavier than I should be?
Who are you to say,
That my outfit looks gay?
Who do you think you are,
Telling me that I won’t get very far?
Let me tell you something Mirror,
I am done with your games, and I am done with your lies, and I am DONE with this guise.
I guess it is time to part our ways,
And now that we did I am free of the haze.
I can see clearly now that you are out of my life.
I can think clearly now without the strife.
I am renewed, refreshed, and ready to go,
Now independent without any woe.
You are gone and I am free,
I will now forever live with glee.
