No Truth in Your Lies

hear the ticking of the clock
as we dance, the nights last dance
the clock strikes twelve, my luck’s run out
I must go, I run away
and unfortunately, you follow
its hard to grasp I know
but I am no pretty princess

I’m talking to you
like I always do
and now I realize
there is no truth in these lies
those beautiful eyes
are telling me lies, tell me why
no truth to these lies

I’m no gambler
but I’ll bet the sound of shuffling cards
just makes you crazy
cause your bluffing and I know it
my luck’s run out again
so I run and hide, but
but you find me

I’m talking to you
like I always do
and now I realize
theres no truth in these lies
those beautiful eyes
are telling me lies, tell me why
no truth to these lies

I used to be crazy about you
would have begged for you to stay
but now that I see who you are
I might want to run away
no pain, no gain
ain’t that how it goes
I’m letting go

I was talking to you
like I used to do
and then I realized
there’s no truth in your lies
those beautiful eyes
were telling me lies, tell me why
no truth to these lies

I had been crazy
now I’m not
used to be in love
now I’m not
used to think you were honest
now I know you’re not
cause there’s no truth
no truth in your lies
