I read a book today on flying
It said to close your eyes and fall

And down down down you'd go
Till you'd never know if you were falling

I tried it, standing on a bridge
Above the murky, murky water

And I did what it said
I closed my eyes and I flew
Flew, flew, flew, ooh

They say some faith can move the mountains
They say it's stronger than a lion
Why can't I have some then?
Just a few more steps and I'd go

But then I'd get so high I'd be afraid
To come back down
Like when you're little and you climb a tree
You forget which branches you used

And I'm so sure you will love her
You'll take good care of her for me, won't you?
You see I'm just a baby, too.

I read a book today on flying
It said to close your eyes and fall
And down down down you'd go
Till you'd never know
If you were falling

I tried it, standing on a bridge
But see, the waves, they looked so cold
So I turned around, felt the ground
And walked away

So now I'll have to walk alone
In this life it’s come and go
And falls, they hit you in your sacred thoughts

And remind you
And remind you
And remind you

I read a book today on. . .
I read a book today on. . .
I read a book today on flying
