Every day is a game of avoidance,
Leaving one room, entering another
Holding off on keeping myself safe

All because you had to do what you did
Because you had to use force
Because you took what you wanted

Because I was afraid to say no
Because I was afraid to go
Because you couldn’t let go

You enter the room, I clench my fists
You see me struggle, you laugh and turn
I run the other way, you slam your door

All because you had to do what you did
Because you had to use force
Because you took what you wanted

Because I was afraid to say no
Because I was afraid to go
Because you couldn’t let go
