Opportunity

You walk past the faces on the street
They trying and crying to get some help
But you all push past; you can’t sit back and give support
It can’t be helped.
So you turn away, forget the day that you saw them
Little faces pinched up, their dying and no ones knows better than you
The life on the broken streets was all you knew.
You fought, you fell, you’ve been through hell
That was the beat of life
The life of strife, of your daddy losing his wife
And going to the bottle, he fell so hard
You were alone
Back to all you’ve known.
You know the little faces, you see in their eyes
Your broken past, you try to hide.
Will you stop? Be a hero for one?
Save a life, or pretend that karma’s done
You got out, a lucky break, a chance, an opportunity.
Someone was a hero to you, they gave you opportunity
Now you have the chance to turn it around, give it to them
Will you? Or will you back down?
The rain is pouring its falling in your face
Their tears are raining, crying at the streets embrace
Let it go, you can’t show, forget the past
It’s no longer you
You got out that’s all you need, so you concede
You’re right to help, to give some aide
Even though your life is perfect, this life you made.
Head held high you walk on by and they’re crying for you
You know their pain, insane, you can’t complain
You left it.
What goes around comes around and you best be ready
It goes back hard, and you ain’t ready
There, a girl, crying in the street, heart, body beat, hands are bloodied
Her face is muddied, her arms outstretched, you hold your breath
The world, they walk on by, don’t even sigh, and she crying
This is it, the moment, the time when you give it back
You save a life, and karma’s score is settled
Jump in and help
Her breath is weak, her face is meek, she won’t survive another week
On the unforgiving streets
You stop, you stop and stare but look on past like you don’t care.
You leave her, you leave her to die, and morning and night you can’t help but scream
At your horrible guilty dreams
You let her die, she dies alone and Karma’s mad
She gave you hope, and you tossed it back
The world has a funny way to even the score,
And you best be ready
You walked down the same path at night with the dying kids
They begging for a little food for their plates,
There not asking for anything big, or anything great
They want compassion and someone to hear their pleas
Their begging and you still ignore them all
Karma comes back, and you will fall
You get jumped on the lonely, deadened streets
The streets of little broken dreams, of broken feet
He puts up a gun to you, mugs you
He don’t know you, but Karma does,
He pulls the trigger, go figure this is the end.
He shoots you in the head, you fall down dead.
Payback, fate worked its way, to make you pay
Little’s girls face last you see
All she needed was your opportunity

Great! I did see quite a few grammar mistakes, but still great.
