Wake Up

You brought me down a thousand times and you didn’t even have to try.
You looked me in the eyes and lied!
I don’t want you!
You must be running out of luck cause now I’m strong enough to leave.
And now I’ve had quite enough. I… I don’t want you.
You took too long to see that all you wanted was in me.
And now you need me.
I woke up!
Ignored your fists my door
You’ll never change the man you were
Where the hell were you when I needed you?
I woke up!
Can’t hear you pounding my door
Won’t let you hurt me anymore!
Why weren’t you here when I needed you?!
You broke my heart a hundred times. You let me down just tell me why.
You looked me in the eyes and lied!
I don’t want you!
You took too long to see that if I left you’d miss me!
But now you want me!
I woke up!
Ignored your fists my door.
You’ll never change the man you were.
Where the hell were you when I needed you?!
I woke up!
Can’t hear you pounding the door.
Won’t let you hurt me anymore!
Why weren’t you here when I needed you?!
You took too long to see no one would love you like me.
And now you miss me.
I woke up!
Heard your fists on my door.
You haven’t changed who you were
I know why you’re here. I don’t want to see you!
I woke up!
I can here you pounding my door
But I won’t answer anymore
Cause you weren’t there for me when I needed you!

I totally understand this song, I had a navy "boy" (no, he's not a man whatsoever) and he sent me a song too. well, i'm writing all my replies in songs as well. He'll hear them one day...probably on the radio
