Un baiser qui n'est jamais goûté est toujours et à jamais perdu.

Every night
I sit and cry.
Hoping you
Won't come home high.
I need
To find the strength to go.
My heart
Just won't let me, though.
After all
You've put me through,
I can't
Believe I still love you.

I love how honest and straightforward this is.  It's simple, yet the reader can infer that this is really just a long story short. I feel very connected to this poem. Its simplicity makes it more relatable. Great work.

I love the way the author put her love for her boyfriend in words. The way the mood is presented to the reader is touching. The way the author tells how the boyfriend comes home drunk and high but, but still she loves him is a part why the mood is touching and loving.(l.2) If the author would have given some more examples of what she finds fault in would have made the poem more interesting.
