If I could fly

Breathe in slowly and let it all out,
Know deep inside slowly, pinch myself from this dream
If perfect was perfect, would I ever wake up to reality?
If life was all that perfect, it would sound wonderful.

If I could fly,
I’d spread my wings and sore up high.
If I could fly, I wouldn’t put myself down
Tell myself that I am beautiful everyday
For I know everything will be alright
If I could fly,
If I could fly,
I would.

I’d fly to the moon
To run away from the fears I’ll never stand up to
I’ll make friends with the aliens,
‘Cause that’s what they say I am.
I’ll close my eyes and take flight

If I could fly,
I’d spread my wings and sore up high.
If I could fly, I wouldn’t put myself down
Tell myself that I am beautiful everyday
For I know everything will be alright
If I could fly,
If I could fly,
I would.

But no, this is not a dream,
I’d better to wake up to reality
I’ll never be flying like how Wendy flew to Never Land
But, just for once,
Yes just for once,
I want to be loved,
Loved and said by the people,
That I’m beautiful,
That I’m beautiful
And perfect

And I am perfect,
As long as I know I am perfect,
I am beautiful,
In every way.

If I could fly,
I’d spread my wings and sore up high.
If I could fly, I wouldn’t put myself down
Tell myself that I am beautiful everyday
For I know everything will be alright
If I could fly,
If I could fly,
I would not
For who needs flying?
To make one feel OK.
