It took me a while to think it all through
To find out who I am and what I need to do
My faith was shattered when I couldn't handle it all
But you held my hand and didn't let me fall
You guided me to places I never though I'd be
And how you knew that I would finally find me
My book is an open passage held in your hand
And I get the beauty of flipping the pages to understand
Your peace, your grace, your forgiving heart
You are my refuge when I'm falling apart
I can't begin to thank you for everything you've done
Finally! Finally, my life has begun
