To say "I love you" one must first be able to say the "I."

My muse is away.
What can I say?
Now my brain is a cavity.
Can my words still have gravity?
Or will they pass through your cavity as well?
Pass right through to my muse in hell.
Will she hear me there?
Should I say a prayer?
Or should I just quit,
and soothe the tongue that I bit?

My muse is away.
What can I say?
Not a day goes by that I don't sigh.
A day when you can catch a shimmer in my eye.

My muse still away.
My body at play.
My mind is in the gutter.
My heart becomes a cutter.
If I lose my muse who's words would be who's?
If I abuse my views, Whos's views would I choose?

My muse is away,
And I dare call myself human.
Should I bring her through my portal,
And declare myself immortal?

My muse is away and there she will stay.
Until the day I have a soul to pay.

The author's comments:
I wrote this song/poem when I couldnt see my girlfriend a while back. I guess I missed her so i started writing. I think I should prepare a very short tid-bit, and let the meaning be determined by the reader.
