feral child

scream, yell, curse, ell.
tears run as her feet follow their lead.
Please, mother don't name call,
pain isn't something i need.
the trees call her name,
not monster, leaves whisper her wild name.
wind rushes past her or is hse rushing past it,
or are they even the same?
(chorus)
she is feral child,
heart of wild,
you can't have a rose without a thorn.
soul racing, bare feet keep pacing
she needs to be reborn.
and when the sun sets, she still lies there
in a forest full of peace.
in that field of glory
she forgets mamma's stories
and let's the sorrow cease.

And when she came to the clearing her fearing paused,
she allowed herself to cry.and imagined a cloud soaked up all the loud
raining silence from the sky.
Then when the echoes stopped
and she sat atop
that familiar lonely hill,
she took a moment to breather in the air,
and let her spirit be still.

(chorus)
she is feral child,
heart of wild,
you can't have a rose without a thorn.
soul racing, bare feet keep pacing
she needs to be reborn.
and when the sun sets, she still lies there
in a forest full of peace.
in that field of glory
she forgets mamma's stories
and let's the sorrow cease.
