"Words build bridges into unexplored regions."

Fools never learn from their mistakes
They keep failing to lessen misery
Of how they’ve suffered heartbreak
They keep falling into mimicry
I’ve been there before, I’ve seen it all
Learning to pace myself so I don’t fall
Those people in cliques are the ordinaries
My mind is my final sanctuary

At the Edge of my world
Is the heart of my civilization.
I clear my head of these
Beautifully painful sensations.
At the Edge where no one touches my heart
I’m never going back to the start
Because that’s where all the troubles brew
Whenever I start to think of you.

No matter what the others tell you
I ask you not to believe
This twisted thing we tend to call
Society and its inconsistencies
Love is my commitment
I’m happy as long as you are living
I don’t care how the world thinks
Nor who the guy is you are seeing

Being the center of the world’s eye’s a burden
A disguised form of captivity
No matter what you do you never escape
And you fall into calamity
I’ve had enough of pain and rue
I work my way to solitude
The Edge I live on makes me realize
There’s no success with attitude

At the Edge of my world
Is the heart of my civilization.
I clear my head of these
Beautifully painful sensations.
At the Edge where no one touches my heart
I’m never going back to the start
Because that’s where all the troubles brew
Whenever I start to think of you.
