I was in love with you once, in those days of sweet June.
It felt as if my heart would dance.
No one could break us. Underneath the silver moon, I fluttered and I swooned. Now all is silent, yet flowers still bloom for you.

Violet, precious moment
take my hand and I will sing. A lover and a poet.
Violet and precious blue
My love forever ring. I send these words to you.

You smiled and I felt weak in those nights of sweet June.
A symphony when you would speak.
No one could break us. Underneath the silver moon, I fell in love with you. Now all is silent, yet stars still shine for you.

Violet, precious moment
Please wait, don't fall for me. A lover and a poet.
Voilet and precious blue
I love you, can't you see? I send these words to you.

How can I know when my heart is grown? I want a love I can call my own. Don't wait for me. Wait for me in June.

Violet, precious moment
Don't tell me what to do. I love you, sweet poet.
Violet and precious blue,
I fell in love with you.
Violet and precious blue.
Violet. Violet. Violet say goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye.

The author's comments:
I am in love with the word Violet, it has a ring to it that I adore and I especially love the French pronounciation of Violet, which is how I imagined it for this piece. Violet is about remembering someone you loved deeply who you have lost and it is now time to let them go, but still being able to hold onto the beauty of your memories, like a beautiful violet.
