Shame Of The Night

I can see you once again
Staring at me through the rain
All the clouds come into one place
So dark I can't see your face

It's a shame of the night
The moon is far away behind
The stars are crashing down to tell me
You're not near
You chose it over me

Ruining their lives that's what you do
Tryin' to forget your own problems
Everyone just used to love you
Now you're losing all of us

It's a shame of the night
The moon is far away behind
The stars are crashing down to tell me
You're not near
You chose it over me

What's the world?
It means nothing compared to your thoughts
What's the difference?
You're not enough, you're not enough
No you're not you're not you're not
No you're not you're not you're not

It's a shame of the night
The moon is far away behind
The stars are crashing down to tell me
You're not near
You chose it over me
Cause you're not you're not you're not
No you're not you're not you're not

So this one's written about my dad too. I wanted to make him realize if he doesn't stop drinking, he'll lose everyone that loves him and I wanted to show him it hurt me that he chose alcohol over me. It's actually about a situation that happened when we were walking, it got dark and he got drunk so I had to walk home alone at night to be exact.
