Set Me Free!

I can’t even look at myself anymore,
I’m too busy staring at a closed door.
I gave up on you returning quite some time ago,
It’s for the best, I try to tell myself so…but;
(My heart is broken, my stars are dull-
My minds unspoken, I feel like I’m riding a mechanical bull.
Try to hold on when I need to let go-
I need, I need to let go.
The pain I feel, the hurt I see.
The shattered girl that’s become me-
My reflection screams to be set free,
SET ME FREE!)
Let me tell you why rain falls from my eyes-
You punked me badly and I believed your lies.
I gave it all- or did you steal it all away?
Don’t answer- I honestly don’t care what you have to say.
(chorus)
