Black and white pages turn,
but in the future they will burn.
Now your heart has taken an unknown path,
others have cast you out, I want you back.

I know you make this an endless fight,
you’re silently drumming in my mind every night.
I see those who raise their fist,
to those that who they call sodomist.

There’s no one left to rely upon,
I am alone like dark shadows lost with a new dawn.
There’s nothing left to change your mind,
my beating worries are the hands that keep moving time.

And I’ll always pray,
for the right words that I say.
They’re falling on deaf ears,
because you’ll be gone for a few more years.

If you open up yours eyes,
and just ignore all these lies,
You’ll see your better off,
and earn the good life you lost.

There’s no one left to rely upon,
I am alone like dark shadows lost with a new dawn.
There’s nothing left to change your mind,
my beating worries are the hands that keep moving time.
