[Verse 1]
I tried to hold my breath,
Until he saw the way I felt about him…
But soon I ran out of air and then,
I feared my head would begin to swim…

[Chorus]
I thought he’d change.
I hoped he’d see.
But I was wrong.
That’s just me.

[Verse 2]
And everyday my hopes slowly disappeared.
I wanted so badly for him to know…
I wracked my brain for the words to say,
I just couldn’t find a way to show…

[Chorus]

[Verse 3]
So now I guess all that’s left is to give up.
I thought I’d try one last time but I can’t stand the pain.
If I don’t give up I’ll just about die.
So I guess its time for one more walk in the rain.

[Chorus]

OH!

[Chorus]

[Bridge]
I’ll walk until the rain washes away,
All traces of his wrongs,
And how I fell for all of it…
When all he wanted was just to see me suffocate…
