Life Comes (Sometimes)

March 9, 2010
Life comes,
When you least expect it,
Life comes,
Around the corner to fast,
Life comes,
And you may not know what to do,
Life comes,
And you get yourself into trouble,
Life comes,
And you may not know what to do,
Life comes,
And the only thing you may need to do
Is break through to get through the mess.

It may be hard,
It may be tough,
It may bring pain,
It may make you cry,
It may make you mad,
It may make you sad,
It may make you lose something
That you never thought to find.

But most of all,
Life comes,
And it may make you,
And it may make you,
More than anything would have ever made you,
More than people would ever teach you about life,
More than life would ever show you.

Life comes,
But it doesn’t always show you
Just where to go,
Or who to see,
Or how to get there,

Just sometimes.

Sometimes you may need to find yourself,
Sometimes you may need to see through someone
To know just how much they would mean to you,
How much they can help you,
How much they can break through
And show you the way,

Sometimes, Sometimes
Sometimes, sometimes,

Life comes,
When you least suspect it,
When you least understand it,
When you least figure out
The truth about something,
When you least know,
Just what you know in life.

Soon you’ll know,
When life continues to come,
And life continues to fall,
And life continues to crumble,
And life continues to brighten your world
With one touch from someone,
You’ll find a whole knew meaning of life,
So live life,

Because all that happens,
Is you have to find yourself,
And life comes…

Without any warning,
Of what’ll happen next,
No one knows,
No one can predict,
Just what’s on the other side.
