Awaken

February 26, 2010
The rooftop is slick underneath your skin
As you curl up under the rain
Silently you slip into your nightmare
And pray for a frozen death

Around you icy bombshells fall
Oblivious to the wailing sirens call

Warning you of endless death
Caused by your sickening selfishness

Awaken from your pain
Wipe the tears from your eyes
Your self pity caused us all to die

Perpetual sorrow rules your face

Your broken bones crack under the weight

Of your never ending hate
Your soul stained black forever
By the sin you endeavor

Polishing all the empty holes
Assured that nothing will fill the space
You smile at your broken soul
Something else for you to case

Awaken from your pain
The tears have frozen on your face
We tried to brush them away
But you’re so proud of your misery Museum

Although your spite pushed so many away
Somehow I will always stay
Attempt to shake you from your daze
While the rest of us scream and bleed

Awaken on the rooftop now
Chilled by the morning frost
No one to share your nightmares with
We were all fighting while you laid down crying
Now we are all restless Dead
