i sit here waiting for you to come around
but that's not a secret in this little town
and all the while, i'm trying to find some way to hold on, to stay strong
i walk the halls, smile on my face again
but this time, it's not pretend
and you're the one, that holds my hand
and keeps me hanging on, even when you're gone
cause, this is the start of something, i've never felt before
and you're the only one that leaves me wanting more and more and
at the end of the day when all is said and done
standing there, cold and bare
you're the one
