I'll tell you what it's like
when you're hanging on the phone
when you're depending on a love
that's only six months old.

I'll tell you what it's like
when all that matters is the minute
between when you say goodbye
and when you can't forgive it.

I'll tell you what it's like
when the hurt becomes your rain
and it won't wash away the guilt
or wash away the pain.

This poem is the intro to a song I'm writing. It is fast-spoken and has rhythm, like rap.

This is really good. It’s easy to relate to, and interesting to read. Keep writing, because this is really good. You should check out some of my stuff. I think you would like it.
