We Learn More From Failure Than We Do Success;
Turn Your Wounds Into Wisdom

Dear Summer for where have you gone
The sunny days the picnics the fun
The Summer Jobs bare witness to funds
Soon as your leave the school years begun

We’re in the hallways backpakin'
Attract static like wool fabric
They can’t stand it
But "F" the teachers and Security too

While you were here, we hope that our maturity grew
Better use security too...
Or, take test for an eternity dude
Real talk I’m only learning you dude
My friend Mike’s taking Math, English, and Paternity too

And then Sue text, Sally and Sally text Ed
Man, He really should’ve took sex ed
But that’s Enough Gossip Its not Cool
This letters not about school it’s about you

You feeling hopeless yet? That’s how we felt!
Life in the fast lane, with no seat belt
And the tags fake, still at this fast pace
But, all our vast prays got us through last may

Its kinda scary, Why? Because its kinda different
How the underdogs Overpowered Clifford
All the hardships that’s what made ya Boy
Through the clouds of misery i see the rays of joy
Momma told me "Don’t talk to strangers boy"
But in her mind know she couldn’t have had a stranger boy

With a mind like his and a vocabulary so scary
It made Bloody Marry scream Bloody Marry

This is all fact, I don’t at all rap
I spit raw facts, now what you call that
To all the dudes in the trap with that raw crack
Wanna stop but, they pay the bills where they moms at
The ones who called that chick who ain’t call back
Under all that Maybelline she ain’t all that
So stand tall mack, throw some cheese her way
And, if she come running, then that’s what we call rats

Stuck in the slums so we feeling like we’re targets
So we figured we'd write this regardless
This coming from all us, I mean all us
The Mothers, Sisters, Cousins, Daughters

To everyone with lost fathers
From all the people with fathers who couldn't feel farther
Feeling like they forgot us
But we forgot them…

Which means we're not acquainted
I feel like i ain’t Ish
When it came to raising his¬¬¬¬ own he wasn’t anxious
I got all the money in the world but to me it don’t make sense

I know it sounds like I’m whining or crying but I’m just being Honest
But the beat ends here and so will I, Summer I'll write you next August
