"Maybe I Just Might"

Maybe I Just Might
Take a leap from this obsession
Life’s paramount receives too much neglect ion
But I wonder what lies inside the reflection
And does the perception hold true to its complexion
Maybe I Just Might
Be bold and regenerating
Show my true colors like light on the cascading
Why the substantial appears to be fading
And like oil my mind begins the evading
The picture begins its blurring
While the detail keeps recurring
I think like everyone
I wait for resurfacing
Maybe I just Might
Be like Alexander and win this fight
But most try with all their might
But what’s right didn’t work out right
Maybe not right
What about a left
The spirit is gone
So the body is what’s left
There’s not enough time to get deep and in depth
To hold light to the dark, with immense finesse
And Maybe I Just Might
Die while I am saving
Saving the eyes and the ears
Instead of hiding away in fear
Nothing speaks volume so the aphonic I hear
Flying free like a kite
Or a flag or a knight
Making sense out of sense
Without little insight
Maybe I Just Might

"Maybe I Just Might" is a piece I wrote about being yourself and taking the time to define your life and its principles with your initiative. Being strong and having a voice of your own.
