To where I'm from

bus just left
a high rate of theft
Where I am

I can deal with anything

(No you can't)

I can deal with most things?

All right I'll admit it!

I'm scared out of my

Might as well be

people walk by me with no recognition

only remember what's in their own repetition

Was I really like them?

Is this what's happened to the
race of men

No more earthly ties
(Time on the internet flies!)
No more lengthy goodbyes
(I'll add you as a friend on Facebook!--What's your email?--Do you have Skype?--MSN?--Gmail?--MySpace?--Twitter?)

But really, it's all in my head
(Did you read what I said?)

only sound is of typing
(Are you even listening to what I'm typing?)

Nobody just
sits and talks
(We do!)
You talk?
(Well, no but-)

(What a bore)

In the real world there's no emoticons
Only faces to depend upon.

Typo check:
17th stanza, third line, last word: it should be writing, not typing.
I wouldn't rhyme typing with typing :P

This is really good. I actually totally got that it was like a musical (only read your comment about that after I finished reading the song).
