Crying silently
So that someone will hear

Hiding a path
So that someone will follow

Closing the door
So that someone will come through

Pushing away
So that someone will care

Covering clues
So that someone will find them

Forming a shell
So that someone will crack it

Running away
So that someone will catch me

Locking windows
So that that someone will break them

But I just get lost
Lost in my closed room
Of panic

No way out
Out of this fortress
I made

Is there still hope
Hope that all is
Not gone

Does the white winter snow
Snow over all and
Forever

Am I all that is left
Left and abandoned

Is there someone out there
Out there and
Searching

Does anyone know
Know that I am still here

Wearing a mask
So that someone will see my real face

Admitting to nothing
So that someone will see my sins

Writing not-truths
So that someone will see that it’s real

Hiding in corners
So that someone will break down the walls

Do it now
Do it now or I will not
Survive

I agree with the part about the snow, but it's a song and I needed an extra line to make it sound right :/

And hey, thanks for the compliment! Nobody has ever commented on my spacing before ^^

"According to some, heroic deaths are admirable things. (Generally those who don't have to do it. Politicians and writers spring to mind.) I've never been convinced by this argument, mainly because, no matter how cool, stylish, composed, unflappable, manly, or defiant you are, at the end of the day you're also dead. Which is a little too permanent for my liking." — Jonathan Stroud (Ptolemy's Gate)

The Good: Wow!!! This is awesome!  I loved how conflicting it was, because it is so true.  Nobody ever lays bare their weaknesses, and you portrayed the not-so-logical reasoning behind their actions.  Amazing job!

The Bad: I think you could take out the part about the snow - it doesn't seem to fit.

The Random: I just wanted to say, in all your poems, I love how creative you are with spacing.  It's very cool!
