It Doesn't Matter Now

When I was a kid, I used to drink and drive
My parents were shocked that I'm still alive
'Cause it didn't seem much for a kid like me
'Cause I was screwed up since I was three
So I dropped out of school when I was thirteen
My parents could care less

But it doesn't matter now
It doesn't matter now

People used to say I was the class clown
Now I'm the clown of this filthy town
When I turned 21 I moved to L.A.
'Cause my one and only friend
Blew his brains out by the bay

But it doesn't matter now
It doesn't matter now

I have no education
I'm on medication
My psychiatrist says to sit down, and do meditation
But I won the lottery
I'm a million air
I guess I was luck
But back then I didn't think life was fair

But it doesn't matter now
It doesn't matter now

The regrets of my life are useless in the past
It doesn't matter what's going on in my mind
I'll never turn back time
'Cause I''m filthy stinkin' rich
Oh, yeah

And my past doesn't matter now
It doesn't matter now
It doesn't matter now
It doesn't matter now
