Men would kill for a hill.
Why?
They do not know.

Here from the king's mountain view
Here from the wild dream come true
I have made the Journey
just to see you

Steal from the pulpit, i have
Stealing his rod and staff
Its hard for me to do the math
even the simplest numbers don't add

If i could i'd wish it all away
My careless lifestyle
as the leaves on the breeze sway

I'd wish it all away just for you
it's something i would do
because i want to be true
no matter the reason,
i'd cross the ocean blue

Here from the king's mountain view
Here from the wild dream come true
I have made the Journey
just to see you

Blistering hands i'm not through
you got me under your black magic
you got me under your voodoo

dancing devils, i am blind
but you help me see your so kind..
i'm looking for peace of mind
you help me relax and unwind

the simplest things aren't there
sometimes i think its not fair
until on the breeze
i smell your hair
Now i settle without a care

Here from the king's mountain view
Here from the wild dream come true
I have made the Journey
just to see you

Others tempt me away
but for you i'll never stray
i'd die before that day
but there are things i'll never say

my innocence is not here
i catch a falling tear
it's more than i can bear
do it again i'd never dare

blood on the weapon,
drowned by the ocean,
shot by his own son,
i used the poison

Here from the king's mountain view
Here from the wild dream come true
I have made the Journey
just to see you
