"love is like a butterfly, hold it too close, it'll crush.. hold it too loose, it'll fly away"

Verse 1:
Sitting here crying
My tears away
But for some odd reason
I still had faith you'll com back some day
You left me as a baby
Didn't know what was going on
But when i had some sense inside
I knew that you were long gone
Chorus:
You told me that you loved me
Wrapped your arms around me
Told me you wouldn't go
That you would pick up that phone
You said that you were sorry
Asked "Do you forgive me"
I said OK, don't make that same mistake
Bridge:
So now here i am
Haven't heard from you since then
You leave me here today
Watching my tears roll away..
Chorus:
You won't tell me you love me
Won't wrap your arms around me
Lied said you wouldn't go
You never pick up that phone
You didn't say you were sorry
You never asked"forgive me"
And i walk away
Like you did that Day.

Life sucks and is unfair. But when a melody dances in the wind, stop and enjoy the peacefulness.

This is a great poem/song. I know what that's like. The eternal night, everlasting rain, the dark cloud around you. And hopefully you have found the light at the end of the tunnel, your day, your sun. If you haven't don't give up. You can last longer than the moon and it's shroud of darkness. Take a look at my short story "The Father" and you'll see what my day was, and if you still live in the night maybe this could somehow help you.
