My Old Friend

I miss those days we laughed and played.

The days where we called when we laid.

I knew right then things weren't the same.

I knew that I'd lose my place.

Where you has only walked away.

I blame myself when you walked out the door.

That day all I did was watch my tears pour.

I treated you bad and very unfair.

But here is what I had wanted you to hear.

Chorus

I wish I wish, for my old friend

The days we laughed and called unplanned

I want to say sorry I was the worse

I want to hold you and shout my words.

I'm sorry I'm sorry I was so foolish

I lost my friend who loved me the fullest.

At times I yelled and said bad words.

Only to know you felt the worse.

You said sorry and plead for my forgiveness.

But it was I who really didn't.

I thought I'd be weak if I given in.

So I stood my ground and didn't forgive him.

Him sad, Me mad I over reacted.

I treated him unfair and kept on acting.

I knew I was in the wrong.

It wasn't til now that I wrote him this song.

Chorus

I wish i wish, for my old friend

The days we laughed and called unplanned

I want to say sorry i was the worse

I want to hold you and shout my words.

I'm sorry I'm sorry I was so foolish

I lost my friend who loved me the fullest.

(Repeat Chorus x2)

One day I hope you understand.

That day was the day I didn't plan.

Aren't you happy that you're so loved now?

That I that friend who had only put you down.

Cries and prays for the day you forgive her.

She was foolish and now sees things in a blur.

She is sorry really is.

That she was the one who didn't do her best.

To My Best Friend who always loved me.

I'm sorry that i was to one who couldn't see.
