A heart made of igneous stone
A heart not to be left alone
What once was a fire
Fluid and lighter
Has still yet to find its way home

A heart made of igneous rock
A heart that was ruined by talk
Heat hit the dark air
Stood cornered and scared
A heart with the eyes of a hawk

While limericks are usually comedic poems, I chose to go a different route because I love the rhythm these poems have.
