“I know it may not look like much to you, but to me, this is a treasure item that I’ve carried with me for 10 years, my square button.”
It's just a button, but I felt that if I knew why it meant so much to her. When she was seven years old the person she admired, her grandpa Tim passed away from cancer. He meant so much to her and when he died, she was crushed. When he died, his button came off and she picked it up. Right when she picked it up, he looked and her and said, “Honey, you will remember me forever. I love you.” Ever since that night, she always kept that button with her because she felt that it was a sign that he was with her always.
