It is a cherry season
The smell of burning wood
Guzzling hot chocolate for no reason
Christmas movies reminding you of childhood
A constant warmth you feel,
though the outdoors are so cold
Twinkling lights make you squeal
St. Nicholas stories are being told
You wake up before the sun that morning
Christmas day is finally to be
You see the colorful adournings
On the forest green tree
Happiness fills the crisp air
And no other holiday could compare
