Stone Path

As I walk down this stone path,
things roll through my mind.
Now that you are truly gone,
I know I crossed the line.
Those things I said, I never meant,
I was just a mess.
But now that you are truly gone,
I feel lonely and hopeless.
I wish you’d make me smile,
and I wish you’d make me laugh.
Those are the things that roll through my mind,
as I walk down this stone path.
