Everyone says you’re smart, sexy, and beautiful All those redeeming qualities right under your cuticle. Even teachers look upon you as their shining night And your eyes bore holes that will comfort children’s fright. Some people say that you are the “whole package” But I’m afraid of you becoming a hatcheck. My life would be complete, If we had never met (or meet). You turned my life around Now it’s all upside down. Not for the better, but for the worst And to this day, you make it seem like our love wasn’t first. I wish you weren’t on my mind Like a bee that buzzes near someone’s behind. Even though you aren’t as “head over heels” for me as I am for you Your appearance makes me wonder if that’s really who I called my “little boo.” Maybe we weren’t meant to be Since our love story was near the corner of batshit crazy. I will alter my personality To that of someone who is rigid in their mentality. Someday, somehow, somewhere I will find the man of my dreams, and he will be true and fair. Now that you no longer my epic fail It will be dismissed as some kind of unreal fairy tale.
I Dismiss You
