I am a girl
Who loves from within
And doesn't care
Where you've been

I am a princess
Long shall I reign
Defending my castle
Without any restrain

I am a girl of God
Loyal can I be
Preaching His word
To everyone I see

I am a girl
With messy hair
And has a thirsty heart
Willing to share

I am a girl
With many flaws,
But I fight without
Any withdraws

I am as fierce as the wind
On a stormy night
Forbidding with all my might
To not leave without a strife

I am who
I am
And I am proud

The author's comments:
When I wrote this poem I was in the middle of reading a book called Tiger Lily. It's about love of course, but as a girl it made me feel fierce and brave and gave me the feeling that I can do anything as a girl. For anyone who is reading this I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest you read Tiger Lily. It is a wonderful book that you'll never forget.
