Whether you think you can or you think you can't. Your right.

My soul is in prison,
my body is in a fight.
My mind makes the decision,
but my heart keeps it right.

My mind says kill,
but my heart forgives.
My body loses will,
but my soul still lives.

I listen to my heart.
I live through my soul.
I believe it's right
and it keeps my life whole.

Am I wrong?
Who can tell.
My life is a song
and is going quit well.

I have been fortunate.
Although I've had downs.
I will survive every torturement,
that tries to throw me down.

Depression can try.
Try to push me off the cliff,
but I will fly.
Fly above the thrift.

When my journey is completed,
I will die.
But I will die satisfied,
because of all the people that helped my soul fly.

This piece is an extension of a poem I have wrote before. This poem is about life and how everyday you battle with yourself on what to do, and how there are lots of things that try to depress you but you can rise above it all.

Live for today, because yesterday is gone and tomarrow may never come.

I absolutely love this poem, its so broad about personal life. It's really expressive and amazingly translates emotion into words.
