"Never forget yesterday but always live for today... cause you never know what tomorrow can bring. Or what it can take away..."

Silence, No pin drop, nails on chalk
shock, Lip quivering, second hand on the clock
collapse, the clock stopped,a black rose marks the day
Death, so close, your hear but so far away
Your hand in mine, soft yet so Davine
Hearts broken, lips in a perfect line, broken yet so fine
coffins closed, your delivered away, the sky a soft gray
my heart a place, your place, forever to stay
my life marked with pain, reminder of that dreary day
when you were taken away, cancer does not play
Emptiness is a room shattered, a delay
Silence, forever and ever, and now your at bay
somewhere safe with no pain, waiting for me
I will soon join you there and we will be free

This is a poem I wrote after the loss of my grandma, whom I loved very much like a mom.
