I’m certainly not the little girl
I used to be.
Now, I what I really want is just
To be free.
The same thoughts don’t pass through
my head.
I want more than just to be able to eat
cookies in bed.
I’m stressed all the time, with the pressures
of teenage drama.
And I’m finding myself hating the person I
call mama.
I wish I was just as innocent and sweet as when
I was nine.
Now I wish that I had someone that I could
call mine.
I’m not the same as when I was in pre-school and I
still finger painted.
Now, I guess you could say, I’m just a little
bit tainted.
