Favorite Quote:
There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.

You just arrive
You’re out of breath
You look around
And then you’ve left

So is it hard
For you to stay
And talk with me
For just a day?

But no you’ve got
Things to do
People to see
But then who?

Who in your life
Would understand
The way I get
Your oddball brand?

We’ve sat and cried
Talked and screamed
Whispered and wept
Relived your dreams!

You turn to leave
You're out the door
Without a word
Across the floor

I look at you
And then I say
Without regret
But with dismay

Goodbye my friend
My confidant
The one I need
The one I want

I wrote this for a friend who I miss but I find we've grown in different directions. I feel that it is just part of growing up; you leave old friends behind and make new ones. People change.
