You made that one decision
Like one more person would really change things for you
Well it did for me
And now I'm screwed
The world seems to be spinning
Madly spinning all around me
I might pass out or just scream
I don’t understand
Why it feels like a big deal to me
If you understand
Could you explain it please?
So now I write this poem
With utter frustration
Just wishing
That I had gotten one of those invitations

I wrote this poem after hearing about a party that everyone else was invited to. I am not close friends with this person. However I wrote this poem to all of the people who have been in this situation before. Yeah, it sucks. But hey, I got a great poem out of the situation
