Where your soul has anchored, do you even know?
Living day – to – day, where ever the wind may blow
You hide behind the mask of an otherwise perfect you
But knowing all your worth, I can say it’s true
Though you don’t listen, you can’t hear
Because to you, I’ve disappeared
If you’d close your eyes and say a prayer,
You’d know I’m here and for you, I still care

The author's comments:
This was, origionally, a topic given to me by my .L.A. Teacher ~ but it's so close to home, that I really just spoke from the heart when I wrote this piece. To me, This poem is about not seeing what your worth - it's taken from the view of a higher power - to me, God. It's about telling you just how unique and important you truly are - we all are. I hope this can reach out to some of you reading this and show you that, Although I may not know your - Your special and so, so important!! Don't EVER, EVER Doubt it, Even for just a Second!!
