Surrounded and crowded and lone
Of the ink of the mind the bone
Tied tongue try to speak but fails
Differences kin of tales
Between lettered crowds I sat alone


The author's comments:
This poem is about all of the characters I have ever made up. In an obscure sense they are my friends, but at the same time they aren’t real so they can’t really be my friends. But they are still a big part of my life.
