I went.
I saw.
I waited,
It was dark
I ate
Chinese food
I looked:
It was still dark
The homies said it started at eight,
I figured they had to know.
I waited some more,
I ate some food
And then I had to go.

I went to the river where the fest was on
Thought I might see ya standing thar
I saw you from a distance near a pelican,
But alas you had too much haar.

So I thought and I wondered:
“What's going on?”
No music on the stage
Bunch of (soon to be) drunks around.

I split,
It was past my bedtime.
I left before
My dog could whine.
I drove like mad to make it home,
But first walked the pier with my deadbeat clone.

Adam.
Adam and I are the prize I got.
He's in, he eats and goes to bed
Like a spoiled dog who's never been fed.
But what do I say:
Hey hey,
Maybe you knew,
Maybe you knew the park was dead.
Maybe you knew,
Maybe you knew what's in the head
Of Adam
Of Adam
Of Adam.

Me...no he just pulled me left and right
Couldn't get it down.
Smelled the smells of another town,
Walking like a headless chicken clown
Making me want to spank him,
Knowing that I wouldn't dare.
Had me walking round his fingers like a sticky cream éclair.

I gave up.
I came home.
Maybe next time,
Dude.

A twang,
A twang.
